At ATI Ambulance, we focus on providing excellent patient care, through extensive training programs, and superior management. Our company is managed by individuals that are both knowledgeable and highly experienced in our industry. Throughout our history we have offered an unprecedented level of care, experience and service to our clients.

Brian Dolan - Chairman

Mr. Dolan currently serves as Chairman of ATI Ambulance, a company he co-founded in 1997 to serve the needs of patients that receive medical treatment at Chicago hospitals. In 1998, Brian founded the Chicago Ambulance Alliance, an organization of Chicago area ambulance companies that contracts with managed care organizations. He is also a co-founder of PPERS, the Private Providers Emergency Response System, and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician. Brian is also a co-owner of AMB Tran Group, Ltd., a privately held holding company that operates ATI Ambulance, Trace Ambulance, Vandenberg Ambulance and Specialty Needs Transportation in the Chicago metropolitan area. The company is one of the largest providers of ambulance services in the Midwest.

In addition to his position at ATI Ambulance, Brian is the Chairman of the MetroSouth Hospital Board, and serves on several charitable boards, including the Newman Center at University of Illinois Chicago; the Chicago Council Boy Scouts of America; Marist High School and Roseland Hospital Foundation. Mr. Dolan received a degree in finance from Eastern Illinois University in 1979. He is a former banker, having held positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Heritage Bank Group, and Downers Grove National Bank. Brian also is a co-owner of Gatto’s Restaurants, with locations in Tinley Park, New Lenox and Downers Grove.

Blair Dietrich, MBA - President

Blair is the President of ATI Ambulance. In 2001, Blair began her career working with ATI Ambulance, as an evening supervisor. Blair then obtained her certification as an American Heart Association Lead Instructor, American Heart Association CPR Instructor Trainer, and an Emergency Medical Technician. After several years, Blair transitioned to the marketing director. In 2005, Blair entered her current role. Having over 12 years of experience in the ambulance industry, Blair is an expert in business development and account management. She is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with over 90 healthcare facilities and managed care organizations.

Blair graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep and earned her Bachelor's of Science and MBA in Healthcare thru Loyola University Chicago. Blair is also licensed as an EMT-B. Blair is the mother of two young boys and enjoys trips with them to museums and other cultural institutions throughout the Chicagoland area.

Christopher J. Vandenberg, J.D. - Chief Operating Officer

Christopher is currently the Chief Operating Officer of ATI Ambulance and is also the Chief Financial Officer for AMB Tran Group, Ltd. – a private holding company operating ambulance under the names of ATI Ambulance, Trace Ambulance and Vandenberg Ambulance. At AMB Tran Group, Ltd., he heads the accounting and legal departments and spearheads various lobbying efforts on behalf of the organization and the private ambulance industry as a whole.

Prior to AMB Tran Group, Ltd., Christopher was the manager of the State of Illinois’ only seed and early stage venture capital program for the Illinois Finance Authority. During that time he managed an active portfolio of over 20 investments, participating in over 25 transactions representing in excess $57,000,000 of capital invested. At IFA, his responsibilities included negotiating and executing private placements and representing the IFA on the Boards’ of Directors, overseeing the operation and management of start-up technology companies. He also participated in a number of debt transactions for a variety of different types of entities, including local governments units, not for profits and small manufacturing businesses.

Christopher currently sits on the Board of the Norwegian American Hospital Foundation and Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation. Christopher also serves as the President for the Illinois State Ambulance Association and as a member of the American Ambulance Association Government Affairs Committee. Additionally, Christopher is admitted to the Bar for the State of Illinois and in the Northern district of Illinois. He maintains his memberships in the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Christopher received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 2008 and his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in 2002.

William Goetz, EMT-P - Vice President of Operations

Bill currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for ATI Ambulance. Bill started his EMS career with Vandenberg Ambulance as a paramedic in 1990. Prior to joining Vandenberg Ambulance, Bill served two years in the United States Navy as an Intelligence and Communication specialist. In late 1990, Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for six years as a Recon Marine Sniper, serving in Desert Shield (1990-1991) and Desert Storm (1991-1992). Upon his return from service in 1996, Bill resumed his position as a Paramedic for Vandenberg Ambulance. In 2001, William was appointed as the EMS Coordinator/General Manager for Vandenberg Ambulance. Bill has held multiple positions during his tenure, including Dispatcher, EMS education coordinator and Personnel Manager with the company. William's leadership style and EMS experience make him an invaluable asset to the Vandenberg management team.

Bill graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Degree in Education. Bill also holds licenses as a Paramedic and Emergency Medical Dispatcher.

Cheryl VanSipma, RN - Compliance Officer

Cheryl serves as the Compliance Officer for ATI Ambulance. Cheryl’s role consists of conducting internal audits and QI, ensuring that transports are properly received, documented and billed. Cheryl began her career in EMS graduating from the first Paramedic class at Silver Cross Hospital over 30 years ago. After working as a paramedic for several years, Cheryl went on to become the EMS Coordinator for the South Holland Police and Fire Department. Cheryl went on to work in the ED at Ingalls Hospital until she was appointed by Illinois Department of Public Health as a Regional EMS/Bioterrorism Coordinator. For ten years, Cheryl regulated the activities for the State in Regions 7 and 11. Her position included providing oversight of training, State testing and all re-licensure of First Responders, EMT’s, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Trauma Nurse Specialists, Pre-Hospital and Emergency Communication RN’s; annual inspection of ambulances; inspections for designation of Emergency Department Approval for Pediatrics and Trauma Centers and approval and renewal of EMS System plans.

Cheryl is a founding member of Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team (IMERT). Through IMERT, Cheryl worked collaboratively with State agencies to create a response team that is properly trained and equipped to respond to mass casualty events throughout the State.

Cheryl graduated from Purdue University with a BSN in Nursing.

Denise Vincent - Director of Patient Accounts

Denise Vincent currently serves as the Director of Patient Accounts for ATI Ambulance. Denise oversees the twenty-five member Patient Accounts department and is responsible for handling contracts with hospitals, SNFs, Hospice and Palliative Care Providers and managed care organizations. Denise began her career with ATI Ambulance in 1999 working in Patient Accounts as a customer service representative.

Denise’s is an expert on billing procedures and documentation. Denise stays current with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance carriers by attending conferences and seminars regarding compliance and procedures. Denise’s dedication to customer service is attributed to her excellent communication skills and contracting familiarity.

Denise is a Certified Ambulance Coder by the National Academy of Ambulance Coding. She also has an Associates of Science Degree.

Denise grew up in Tinley Park and currently resides with her wonderful husband, Matt, and their loveable dog, Daisie in New Lenox, Illinois. Denise loves walking, reading, cooking, listening to music and especially laughing. Denise has many philosophies on life, work and family such as “Every day is a “Gift” and “Live the life you love! “.

Norah Power, CCEMTP - Vice-President of Operations

Norah J. Power currently serves in Management, Field Supervision, and daily Operations at ATI. She is a 21 year veteran in the emergency medical field and has been employed by ATI since 1998. Norah values hospitality, service to others and equality. In addition to Paramedic, she is one of the lead educators at ATI as a Preceptor, EMS Lead Instructor and NAEMT Safety Instructor.

Norah’s perseverance for personal development in the ever-changing EMS world has expanded her achievements to include Critical Care Paramedic (CCEMTP) and Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO). Her commitment to social justice has led her to the newly appointed CAA Chief Cultural Diversity Officer.

Sharing her passion for emergency medical work, Norah is adjunct faculty for Malcolm X College Paramedic program and trains in the field, classroom and ATI.

Norah lives in her hometown Evanston, IL with her dog Stryker. She is an avid reader and member of a women’s softball league since 2003. She lives by the saying, “Enjoy the little things in life for one day you may realize they are big things.”

Michael Witherspoon, Operations Manager

Michael Witherspoon currently serves as the Operations Manager for ATI Ambulance. Michael began working with ATI Ambulance in 2008. In addition to holding concurrent licenses as an EMT-B, Lead Instructor and EMD, Michael is certified in and functions in the capacities of CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor, EMS Safety Instructor, CEVO and Driving Instructor. Michael reviews BLS EMS Reports for quality improvement. In his role as Operations Manager, Michael coordinates all garage-based activities with senior management and Dispatch. Additionally, Michael coaches and develops employees and coordinates the Student Rider program. Michael is the company PPERS liaison and represents ATI/ATG at various preparedness drills and exercises.

Michael comes to EMS with an extensive background in retail security management and special events. Actively working to complete his Bachelors of Science degree in Public Safety and Emergency Management, Michael presently holds a degree in Emergency Management. Michael is a faculty member at Wilbur Wright College where he teaches courses in emergency management and homeland security.
